SELEUKID KINGS. Antiochos II Theos, 261-246 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 30 mm, 17.08 g, 12 h), uncertain mint 30, probably in Northern Mesopotamia. Diademed head of Antiochos II to right. Rev. BAΣIΛEΩΣ - ANTIOXOY Apollo seated left on omphalos, holding arrow in his right hand and resting his left on grounded bow; to outer left and right, monograms. Le Rider, Antioche, Groupe 3, 4 (this coin, A1/P1). SC 580.6a. WSM 1139ϝ and pl. XXXIII, 17 (this coin). Rare and with an unusual and impressive portrait. Some doubling on the reverse, otherwise, good very fine.
